Songs to remind you of Florence

Poem: When he fell to his knees

man crying in water

He cried so I reached my hand to his face
wiped his tears.
He broke down.
Fell to his knees,
looked up at me,
begging and pleading.
My hand raised to my mouth
I tried to fight back the tears.
I couldn’t,
it was over.
There was no us,
there never could be.
It was doomed from the start.
I never stopped loving you
we just weren’t meant to be.
Fate intervened.
It was not part of God’s plan.
So forget me.
Do good on Earth
and maybe, just maybe
we could unite in Heaven.
Maybe I could meet you there…

Top 5 Tips for Healthy skin (for eczema sufferers):

  1. Moisturise your hands after washing them. A great hand cream is Neutrogena’s Norwegian formula concentrated unscented hand cream. A 50ml hand-size package can slip in your handbag to be with you no matter where you are.
  2. Drink green tea! It contains antioxidants, fights free radicals thus preventing damage to skin cells and tissue.
  3. Keep you home very clean! Dust, dander and pet hairs can irritate your skin so ensure to vacuum and wash your bed linens once a week to keep your home fresh.
  4. In the shower use a hypoallergenic shower gel like Sanex’s zero 0% once skin is cleansed add olive or coconut oil to dry patches and shower off.
  5. Use only a non-bio clothing detergent and a sensitive accompanying fabric softener.
